~What did you learn about yourself and about humanity by studying the Holocaust through reading "Night?"
~Could a Holocaust or its equivalent happen today or in the near future? Why or why not?
~Do ones memories or does history serve to make the world a more humane place?
~Do recent events prove that the world has not forgotten the Holocaust? Or, has the world already forgotten? In addition to using textual evidence from "Night," also utilize recent historical events to support your viewpoint.
~What forces are essential to developing attitudes free of inhumane and barbarous actions on the part of individuals or nations? What do you think Elie Wiesel would advocate as needed to change views and values?
