~Reread each explanation sentence. Discuss how these "explanation sentences" both help or hinder your understanding of the story, of the topic of the paragraph, of the topic of the essay.
~Look at the transitions into the textual evidence. How do these transitions add to the understanding and flow of each paragraph?
~Reread the essays as a whole. Discuss if the author has "proved" the thesis statement. (Do you believe it?)
